Procell Microchanneling

Procell Microchanneling in Portland, Maine

Your skin's next evolution

An evolved form of microneedling with deeper serum absorption, minimal downtime, and visible results for every skin type.

What is Procell?

Microchanneling that works with your body, not against it

Procell microchanneling uses precision microchannels to switch on your skin's natural wound-healing cascade, then delivers a serum rich in peptides, growth factors, and cytokines exactly where your skin can use it.

The Procell device creates uniform micro-injuries that trigger a surge of collagen and elastin. Because the channels are so precise, your skin gets a consistent, effective treatment every time, without cutting or damaging the surface.

The result is healthier, smoother, and younger-looking skin that keeps improving as new collagen builds in the weeks that follow. Treatments happen in our Victorian studio in Portland's West End, serving Portland, South Portland, Falmouth, Scarborough, and the Greater Southern Maine area.

What microchanneling helps with

A single treatment supports tone, texture, and radiance. A series goes after the stubborn stuff.

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
  • Large pores and uneven texture
  • Stretch marks
  • Rosacea

Microchanneling vs. microneedling

Both stimulate collagen. Procell refines every step of the process, and the differences add up quickly.

Precision and comfort

Traditional microneedling relies on manual pressure, which can be inconsistent. Procell's automated device delivers uniform depth and spacing, so most clients need no numbing cream and feel no noticeable pain.

Serum infusion, not just stimulation

Open microchannels absorb a serum rich in peptides, growth factors, and cytokines at a depth topical skincare cannot reach, repairing, brightening, and hydrating from within.

A fraction of the downtime

Microchannels close within 60 to 90 minutes, compared with the 3 to 5 day recovery of traditional microneedling. You can return to your day almost immediately.

Safe for every skin tone

Procell minimizes the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, making it a trusted option for sensitive skin and darker skin tones that traditional microneedling can irritate.

Your first visit

What to expect

Every Procell journey starts with a 60-minute first session. Your provider begins with a customized facial to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and prep your skin, and takes the time to evaluate your concerns and map out a plan for lasting results.

A single 60-minute Procell Microchanneling session is $350, or a package of three for $950. Follow-up treatments run 30 to 45 minutes. For most concerns we recommend a series spaced about six weeks apart; for scarring, laxity, and deeper wrinkles, additional sessions may be recommended.

Microchanneling is performed by the licensed team behind our results-driven facials, and it pairs beautifully with LED light therapy and our other advanced treatments.

Procell, answered

Does Procell microchanneling hurt?

Most clients complete the procedure without numbing cream and without any noticeable pain. There is no lingering discomfort; post-procedure, most people report a tight feeling in their skin for a short while.

What skin conditions will microchanneling help with?

Procell improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring, large pores, stretch marks, and rosacea.

How long before I see results?

It is not unusual to notice improvement within the first 24 hours. Consistent, noticeable change builds over 2 to 3 treatments as new collagen forms, and 6 or more sessions may be recommended for scarring, laxity, and wrinkles.

How long does a treatment take, and what is the downtime?

Your first visit is booked for 60 minutes; follow-ups typically run 30 to 45 minutes. Downtime is 60 to 90 minutes while the microchannels close, far shorter than the 3 to 5 day recovery of traditional microneedling.

How is microchanneling different from microneedling?

Procell uses an automated device that delivers uniform depth and spacing instead of manual pressure, infuses a serum of peptides, growth factors, and cytokines into the open channels, and heals dramatically faster.

Is Procell safe for all skin types?

Yes. Because microchanneling leverages your body's natural healing processes, it is safe and effective for all skin types and tones, including sensitive skin, with minimal risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
