We are delighted to announce to our Health Resonates community that this summer, Tara Evelyn, Licensed Massage Therapist, Energy Healer, Aesthetician & Founder of Health Resonates, and Anna Flaherty, Experienced Licensed Massage Therapist & Aesthetician, are uniting as co-owners of Health Resonates, a Boutique Wellness Spa in Portland, Maine!

Around 26% of women have reported increased stress after starting their business, with nearly a third having nightmares about the venture failing.* Together, Tara and Anna will combine their passions, clients, and services for a better, stronger business post-pandemic. Health Resonates offers a variety of services, including many types of massage therapy services, facials, and beauty services. Their mission is to provide their clients with services that enhance well-being through empowerment, relaxation, and wellness.

“The pandemic helped me see how important our work at Health Resonates truly is. Some folks came in not having any forms of physical touch in days/weeks/ even months and could feel the love and support of our practitioners in such a healing way. Unfortunately, the pandemic also brought on hard times for our business. Not necessarily the lack of clients, but rather struggling to find practitioners AND the time to train the new talent. Teaming up with Anna will give us extra support, and with doing so, I foresee the business thriving even more and continuing to grow.” says Tara.

As women and leaders in the wellness community, Tara and Anna believe in following your heart, trusting your gut, and supporting women to live their most blissful lives. Practices they live by every day.

“I struggled with who I was for a long time..” Flaherty says, “when I found massage therapy, I knew in my heart this was the career for me. It fulfilled me in a way I hadn't felt from a job before. I enjoyed going to work, building relationships with my clients, and watching the transformation massage made in their lives. It positively impacted me, and I feel more inspired and empowered than ever.”

Tara and Anna have attended the same networking events, shared a workspace, and held similar wellness beliefs, so it was only natural they would bloom into business partners.

“I have admired Tara and her work for a long time now. I feel she is a strong leader in the community, and together we can make more than just another spa; we are committed to making this wellness center an all-around healing space for our clients where they feel safe to come as they are. We each have such strong gifts of being able to help other people; I am so excited to put our minds together and bring even more elevated experiences to our clients.” - Anna Flaherty says about Tara.

Since the launch of her services, Tara's vision has always been to provide her clients with the best therapeutic services and educational materials possible by combining a traditional holistic approach with advancing technology.
