There's a moment in a session when everything shifts — when a client's breath deepens, their shoulders drop, and you can feel the tension releasing under your hands. I've lived for that moment since the day I found massage therapy, and I've never looked back.
My path to Health Resonates wound through every kind of healing environment — chiropractic clinics, high-end spas, sports therapy rooms. Each one taught me something different about the body, about what people carry, and about what becomes possible when you treat the whole person rather than just the symptom. My specialty is the relationship between muscle and fascia — the deep tissue work that goes beyond surface-level relief to address what's actually driving the tension. That knowledge is the foundation everything here is built on.
What I discovered along the way is that no single modality tells the whole story. The most transformative sessions happen when techniques are layered — when deep tissue meets lymphatic drainage, when bodywork meets energy work, when what you need is met with something more than what you expected. That's the philosophy I've brought to the Health Resonates team, and it's what makes each appointment here genuinely different.
Building this space in Portland's West End has been its own kind of journey. I wanted somewhere that felt like a true sanctuary — not a transaction, not a clinical visit, but a place where people could arrive as they are and leave feeling like themselves again, only more so. A Victorian house in the West End turned out to be exactly right.
