3 Tools You Need for Flawless Skin
Did you know your skin is only 1 millimeter thick yet streams with blood vessels, hormones, lymphatic capillaries, healthy lipids, waterproofing oils, and beneficial flora? It’s our largest organ and it’s one we often forget to take care of on a regular basis. Though I wish I could pick a few skincare products and do my favorite skincare routines for x amount of days and have flawless skin for life, I know that my skin is always changing and will always need my attention.
I love sharing my skincare tips with you! So today, I’m sharing with you 3 tools you can use for flawless skin -
Facial Dry Brush - The benefits of dry brushing are endless, honestly. It only takes a few minutes and you’re doing so much goodness to your body. Before your bath or shower, take a drop of botanical oil (we love the raspberry seed oil) and much like butterflies kissing your skin, gently brush the bristles in a circular motion up to your heart. (Avoid brushing damaged or inflamed skin) This little self-care practice not only wakes up the lymph system, it reduces the appearance of cellulite and is exactly what the body needs to restore your verve and vigor.
Citrine Gua Sha Stone - We’re big on using the gua sha here and the citrine gua sha stone (paired with the pumpkin seed oil for the smoothest application) may be exactly what you need if you want to: increase blood flow and lymphatic circulation - which may smooth the appearance of wrinkles, brighten the complexion, improve skin tone and texture, and firm and contour the face. And, if you’re into the meaning of crystals, citrine is known for positivity and optimism, manifesting financial abundance and opportunities. It can also be used to awaken the solar plexus chakra, helping to cultivate confidence and personal power. This regime was a must-have in our skincare routine.
